Nothing will change.

She kept having the same dreams and illusions that would only die in vain and end in disappointment. Flashbacks of the past, the good and the bad, were all that could cross her mind those days. That night had been a spark of hope in her heart. For her to hold on once again to that which she felt that still was hers. The first kiss of that night felt as if it was their very first, with all the power of two hearts bonded together. There was no other world but theirs that night, in which despite all of the things that had been said and done, despite the heartbreak, something felt right. It felt good. The next morning was different. Reality kicks in just as hard as a knife through your chest. There it was, the lying, the indifference. Her heart craving for something that is probably gone forever. Hope starts to die fast once disappointment takes place. And whereas in her heart she has that wish to have him back for herself, to be his first and only, her mind already knows what is really going on. Because her mind uncovers every lie he tells her, her mind knows that he has made a new life where there is no room for her, she knows that, all that is left for her is being the other woman, if anything, and being used as a toy just for pleasing. She knows it all, but her heart won’t listen. There is still hope, little, but still there.
